MARY P. THAYER
Licensed Acupuncturist, LAc
License # 928-55
Mary specializes in using acupuncture to treat stress, digestive issues and muscular tension. She has seen acupuncture delay the onset of disease, maintain chiropractic adjustments, and promote emotional health. She is skilled in empathetically listening to her clients, which helps her identify illnesses and imbalances that cause her clients physical or emotional distress. She is an accomplished, well-researched and knowledgeable practitioner.
Mary wants her patients to feel like dancing every day, whether they are 15 or 95!
In her many years devoted to studying Traditional Chinese Medicine, Mary has seen that the source of pain and diseases in the body come from imbalances. These imbalances are caused by stress, digestive issues, and muscular tension. By using the 8-Principle Diagnosis as well as pulse and tongue diagnosis, Mary discovers the root of imbalance in your body and creates a treatment plan for you.
Conditions that Mary has successfully treated with acupuncture include:
- Sports injuries
- Carpal tunnel syndrome
- Crohn’s disease
- Multiple sclerosis (MS)
- Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
- Trigeminal neuralgia
- Chronic and acute pain
- Menstrual complaints
Mary is a nationally board certified and state licensed acupuncturist since 2007.
